NIPTIFY is available in clinics across Estonia.
A doctor, midwife or nurse takes a blood sample and sends it to our Precision Medicine Laboratory in Tartu, Estonia. The results are also given to you by your doctor or midwife. Before giving a blood sample for the NIPTIFY test, you must sign the patient informed consent form and pay for the test. The Estonian Health Insurance Fund covers the cost of the test for patients who got an increased risk score for fetal chromosomal disease in the OSCAR screening test; whose previous child was diagnosed with trisomy; or performing an invasive test (amniocentesis) is not possible.
